The biggest advantage of IP technology is the excellent image quality. The signal is transmitted in digital form, so there are no known limitations of analog systems. Due to the wide offer of IP cameras, it is possible to choose the most suitable camera resolution for the location, size and type of installation.
LARGE FACILITIES, SMALL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS
Based on IP technology, it is possible to build VSS (Video Surveillance System) systems consisting of hundreds of cameras, as well as small multi-camera systems. While expanding the system with additional cameras, the only limitation is the efficiency of the network and server infrastructure.
EASY INSTALLATION
In the vast majority of IP cameras, power can be provided normally via 12 VDC as well as using a PoE supply. PoE (Power over Ethernet) reduces the cost of building the system – there are fewer cables in use and you don't need to use additional power supplies.
TRANSMISSION OF MULTIPLE STREAMS IN DIFFERENT QUALITIES
IP systems allow video sent over the network to be distributed in streams of different quality. Cameras allow you to define two or more streams. This allows the first and second streams to be recorded simultaneously, using the first stream for full screen viewing, the second for split and the third for mobile viewing.
CAMERAS WITH INTEGRATED ANALYTICS
The high quality and depth of the video image recorded by IP cameras as well as the performance of the imaging processor allow IP cameras to be equipped with advanced image analysis options, e.g. infringement detection, disasters, crowd gathering, driving in an unauthorized direction, illegal parking, people counting, license plate recognition as well as parking access management.
CAMERAS WITH „FISHEYE” LENS - VIRTUAL PTZ
Cameras with a "fisheye" lens create a video stream as a panoramic image. With the right software (eg NMS) you can split it and create any number of 'virtual' views. This allows the entire space to be observed using only one camera.
4 MPX
The dynamic development of high resolution analog systems has led to 4 MPX devices. This gives us the opportunity to observe and record an image with a large number of details while maintaining a large transmission range.
MULTISTANDARD
Due to the increasing market expectations a new technology emerged from NOVUS – AHD Multistandard. It allows the camera to operate in one of three high-resolution standards: AHD, CVI and TVI, as well as in the standard resolution of 960H. In addition, NOVUS AHD recorders work in hybrid mode, allowing the simultaneous connection of analog and IP cameras.
MOTOR-ZOOM
Both AHD Multistandard and AHD 4 MPX are equipped with a motor-zoom lens for remote adjustment of focus and focal length.
EASY CONTROL
The new AHD devices, unlike the common analogue ones, offer the possibility to manage the camera functions, such as navigation options, camera settings, lens control or PTZ control (dome cameras) through the recorder.
COMPATIBILITY WITH NMS
NOVUS AHD recorders are compatible with the well-known and reliable NMS software, so the application of the new technology does not require knowledge of the new program. NMS is a professional platform that works with all NOVUS loggers and ensures simple development of existing systems.
RTSP
NOVUS AHD recorders allow streaming of all channels as an RTSP stream.
